The Water Garden

This project is a contemporary residential landscape designed as a tranquil garden retreat, where water, lush planting, and a sculptural feature tree come together to create a calm and immersive outdoor environment.
Tucked along the boundary wall, a cascading waterfall flows from the upper tier into a koi pond below, filling the courtyard with gentle movement and sound. A composite timber bridge floats lightly over the pond, inviting close appreciation of the water and surrounding planting.
Layers of tropical foliage and lush marginal plants enhance depth, cool the microclimate, and create a calm, immersive retreat — offering a visual pause from daily routine.
Set along the driveway, an imported Baobab tree stands along the driveway as a sculptural statement piece, bringing timeless character and presence to the home.
