The Reef at King’s Dock is a premier waterfront residential development spanning 28,579.3 sqm in Singapore’s exclusive Keppel Bay precinct, designed to transform a former shipyard into a vibrant, nature-integrated living environment. Emphasising a strong open village concept, the design fosters intimate connections with both greenery and water. Landscape strategies focus on creating privacy and lush, immersive spaces through features like sunken tennis courts, rooftop gardens, and edible planting areas that revive the kampong spirit. Extensive green roofs, sky terraces, and biodiverse elements bring nature close to residents while supporting urban ecology.

Water is a key sensory and experiential element, with visual and auditory cues throughout the estate, from water features at entrances to a basement gym facing a reflecting pool. A standout feature is the floating deck with recreational pools and a Marine Life Viewing Pit, enhancing sea water circulation and educating users about marine biodiversity. Adjacent to this, a transformed coastal seawall becomes a living, green visual spectacle. Sustainability is embedded through rainwater harvesting for intelligent irrigation, smart water play systems, and the use of natural materials to evoke a rustic, coastal aesthetic.
