The Minton is a 1,145-units, which cover half a million square feet (approximately 7 football fields) is packed with facilities and water areas. There are a total of 1,155 trees and palms, 81,300 shrubs and groundcovers planted. Amidst the modern amenities, a lush tropical forest abound on the North Eastern side of the development. From a bird's eye view it seems a portion of unending multiplicity of green from the forest have been 'transplanted' onto the compound of this development.
This is the core location where residents are able to feel the therapeutic sensation of the vertical 'forest' and where the diversity of flora and fauna coexist in a symbiotic world.
Children’s Play Area (Wet Playground)
Children are spoilt for choice by the various wet play themes available with topiary animals strategically placed around the play area. Some of the play items include the wet play structure, wading pool, swimming pool, ‘merry go round’, tree house and ‘rock n log’ outdoor chess set. Lush hedges along the residential perimeters (PES Area) provides the screen for privacy to the ground level dwellers.
Tranquil World
Amidst the modern amenities, a lush tropical forest abound on the North Eastern side of the development. From a bird’s eye view it seems a portion of unending multiplicity of green from the forest have been ‘transplanted’ onto the compound of this development. This is the core location where residents are able to feel the therapeutic sensation of the vertical ‘forest’ and where the diversity of flora and fauna coexist in a symbiotic world.
Cascading Waterfalls
The huge extend of the cascading weirs echoes the forest’s water symphony and camouflages ones’ thoughts away from the mundane world. A comfortable soothing element to a hectic life. The water walls breathing sound and light is created to negotiate the change in levels of the development. Residents can have a pristine scroll along the water elements and savour the cheerfulness of the chirping birds mingling amongst the trees.
Amazonian pond
A diverse collection of local tree species, fresh water fishes and undulating marginal plants are in abundance around the allotted lushness. Residents can mingle in a ‘lost world’ for their get together. Children are encouraged to forage along the shallow water edge to enjoy the ‘lost kampong lifestyle’ of ‘yesteryears’. All this right outside the doorsteps of their houses.
One can never imagine that a lush tropical forest with water habitat of miniature scale, can be within a condominium dwelling, set on top of a basement car park. The bio-pond, with its undulating and richly layered array of marginal plants, reintroduces the palustrine ecosystem that was once scattered throughout Singapore.
Contemporary Bridge
A contemporary wave like timber bridge separates and yet connects the Northern and Southern side of the development as the main thoroughfare where residents are able to ‘cross over’ seamlessly within the development. The curvy wavy planters on deck softens the vast expand of the timber deck. The perforation of the safety side rails enables residents to savour the lush ‘vertical forest’ below.
Lap Pool
An Olympic size swimming pool provides ardent swimmers to exercise and practice their strokes in the semi raised pool. Pool side cabanas provide ample space and privacy for those who prefers to stay dry and relax in an open space.
Peripheral Access
The main peripheral driveway adorned with lush ‘coloured foliage’ (seasonal) trees gives one the ‘changing of the seasons’ experience from the metamorphosing of the Lagerstroemia trees, providing a myriad of colour variations, along the main access roadway.
