Pan Pacific Orchard embodies a pioneering “Hotel in Nature” concept, setting a new benchmark for high-rise tropical hospitality in Singapore. Located at 10 Claymore Road, the development integrates open-air architecture with extensive greenery across four distinctive terraces — Forest, Beach, Garden, and Cloud — each offering a unique spatial experience shaped by lush planting, water features, and elevated garden environments.

The landscape plays a central role in bringing this vision to life, weaving greenery through cascading water plazas, lagoon-style pools, sky gardens, and event spaces to create an immersive connection between hospitality and nature. Verdant green columns and layered planting contribute to a 300% replacement of the site area with vegetation, reinforcing the hotel’s identity as a distinctive garden hotel along Orchard Road.

Recognised internationally, Pan Pacific Orchard was named the world’s best new tall building by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat in 2024, alongside other awards for its sustainable high-rise design. It has also achieved Green Mark Platinum, reflecting its integration of passive design strategies, climate-responsive spaces, and environmental performance within a dense urban setting.

The Forest Terrace features a cascading water plaza surrounded by forest trees, creating a dramatic entrance and fostering a lasting urban connection. A variety of forest plant species were chosen and planted around the plaza, bringing a dense tropical forest experience to both guests and the public, offering a peaceful escape from the bustling district.

The expansive volumes function as oversized sunshades for the terraces and rooms, while the reflective ceilings act as thermal mirrors, boosting radiant cooling by increasing the surface area of lush planting and water.

The Beach Terrace provides guests with a tropical sanctuary in an urban setting. Along the winding sandy beachfront, Dypsis leptocheilos palms encircle the lagoon. Selected to emulate coconut palms, they create a relaxed, resort-like atmosphere.
